Proposed Arrowhead-Weston Transmission Line Crossing

The proposed Arrowhead-Weston transmission line will cross the St. Croix River headwaters segment along the route of the existing transmission line just to the northwest of Gordon.  A pdf file of the above image can be downloaded here (requires Adobe Reader).

For reference, Old Highway 53 is shown as a vertical line on the left.  The vertical line to the right of Old 53 is the Wild Rivers Trail.  To the right of the trail is the Eau Claire river, coming from the south.  To the right of the river confluence is the active railroad line.  The yellow line represents the transmission line, the red squares are the transmission line towers.
