In Douglas County, the proposal also included ORW classification for the Amnicon, Moose,
Spruce river and Totogatic rivers.

25-26, 2005 the proposal was considered and public hearings were
authorized.
¢Public hearings
were held in January
2006.
¢Written
public
comments were submitted in February 2006.
¢The
Wisconsin Natural Resources Board reviewed and unanimously approved
the DNR's proposal on June 28, 2006.
¢The Senate Natural Resources and Transportation
Committee took no action (i.e. did not object) at a hearing on August 24, 2006.
¢The
Assembly Natural Resources
Committee took no action (i.e. did not object) at a hearing on September 14, 2006.
